This class incorporates scaled down gymnastic equipment with interactive playtime between parent and child. Skills learned enhance balance, coordination, flexibility and strength. This is a 30 minute class once a week.
Age: walking to 3 yrs.
PARENT & TOT CLASS
This 45-minute class offers preschoolers an introduction to gymnastics. On scaled down equipment, children learn basic skills on floor exercise, uneven bars, balance beam and vault. The class helps develop coordination and listening skills as well as learning to take turns and follow directions.
Class meets once or twice a week.
Ages: 3 & 4
Gymnasts learn basic skills on the uneven bars, balance beam, vault, floor exercise, and trampoline. Basic dance skills are introduced as well as flexibility and strength exercises.
Class meets once or twice per week.
Ages 4 and up.
LEVEL 1 – BEGINNER
This class focuses on a continuation of progressive skills with more difficult skills being introduced. Students work, tumbling and floor exercise, uneven bars, balance beam, vault and trampoline.
Class requirements: round-off and backward roll. Class meets once or twice per week. Ages: 5 and up.
LEVEL 2 - INTERMEDIATE
This is a developmental class for the serious gymnast. Students in Level 3 move at an accelerated pace. Emphasis is placed on skills needed for competition.
Class requirement: back kick over and pullover on bars. Class meets one hour once or twice a week. Ages: 5 & up
LEVEL 3 – INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
This is a developmental class for the serious gymnast. Students in Level 4 move at an accelerated pace. Emphasis is placed on skills needed for competition.
Class requirements: back handspring and back hip circle on bars Class meets one hour once or twice a week. Ages: 5 & up
LEVEL 4 – ADVANCED
This class is designed to help improve your tumbling skills either for cheerleaders or for those wanting to keep their skills sharp.
MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL TUMBLING CLASS
This class incorporates basic tumbling skills. Learn cartwheels, round-offs, back bend kickover and continue to work on more advance skills.
GRADE SCHOOL TUMBLING CLASS
Boys are trained on parallel bars, tumbling and floor exercise, vault and trampoline. Classes meet for one hour each week.
