TO SWIM, OR NOT TO SWIM?
Have you watched your son or daughter having fun in swim lessons over the years and would like to see them continue to develop their swimming skills? Or maybe your child wants to try out another sport? Either way, the Hutchinson YMCA Swim Club can meet your needs. The YMCA Swim Club practices in the beautiful Conklin Aquatic Center's 25 yard competitive pool. The pool has six seven-foot wide lanes, deck space to seat 200, and a full Colorado Timing system with a 6-line scoreboard display. With our new indoor facility and eight-lane fifty-meter outdoor pool at Carey Park, the Hutchinson YMCA Swim Club has the ability to support dynamic and progressive swimming program.
Our goal is to satisfy the needs of the novice through the nationally-ranked swimmer. In order to create a successful experience for each of these diverse swimming groups we have a highly-experienced coaching staff, a very supportive and helpful parent nucleus, and three different workouts. One workout is designed for the very competitive swimmer and is called our Senior workout. Another workout is designed for swimmers who can do all the strokes but need more refinement and conditioning. The third workout is tailored for swimmers who are sill learning the four competitive strokes, need more stroke technique work, and wish to be involved in a more exciting environment.
We feel that Hutchinson YMCA Swim Club is an outstanding team, structured for success. Whether you are interested in swimming competitively, to get in shape, or to improve your swimming technique; Hutchinson YMCA Swim Club can meet your needs. If you are interested in this program, please take the time to check it out. A trial week is available if you are interested, but just donít know if this is right for you.
